elendi raises 625,000 Euros to build employee engagement and capabilities
French start-up, elendi, announced today that it closed
a 625,000-Euro angel financing round, a few months after incorporating.
The funds will be used to accelerate the development of
its employee engagement and capability-building platform.
An organization’s success is fueled by a capable and engaged workforce. These performance drivers become increasingly important with accelerating technological change (such as digitization or Artificial Intelligence), and more frequent global disruptions (such as the current pandemic). As a solution, elendi offers its highly innovative employee-engagement and capability-building platform. This platform empowers employees to take their learning and growth into their own hands and make their voices heard; it enables managers to encourage and facilitate their teams’ development; and it equips HR to monitor and steer the strategic capabilities and engagement levels across the organization.
Bernard GOLSTEIN, elendi co-founder and CEO, said: “This round of financing cements the impressive coalition being built around elendi. It is the logical follow-up to the successful pilots conducted with our first client companies, where we were able to confirm the double assumption that underpins elendi. First of all, a powerful virtuous circle binds capability building and employee engagement, particularly in the difficult context that the whole planet is experiencing - and we are implementing this virtuous circle natively. Secondly, employees’ full participation can be secured by providing them with hyper personalized and actionable insights, and a high-quality user experience."
Jean-Luc BERNARD, founder and chairman of Robinson Technologies (comprising Astek Group) and lead investor on this round, added: “I was immediately attracted by the huge potential of the market that elendi caters to, as well as by the approach taken and the underlying AI technologies. Elendi is on a trajectory of future world leader in solutions for capability-building and employee engagement and retention. While elendi is strengthening its base in France and Europe today, I can anticipate their expansion in Asia, where Bernard and I met and forged a sense of mutual respect and admiration. I am very proud to take part in, and contribute to this new stage of elendi’s development.”
elendi was co-founded in 2021 by Bernard GOLSTEIN (Mines - INSEAD) and Mito MACKIN (McGill - INSEAD). They bring over 25 years of experience each on 4 continents, mainly in tech (software and AI) and education (L&D and coaching). Now in the midst of heavy recruitment efforts, they will use the funds mainly to accelerate the development of the platform.
